Buck Kahler
Buck Kahler is the President of Nolichucky Pictures and has over 25 years of filmmaking experience. Kahler is also head writer, director, and editor at Nolichucky Pictures. He is contributing photography and video services for KnoxZine.com.
Carole Ann Borges (1948-2016)
Carole Ann Borges is the author of Dreamseeker’s Daughter, a memoir about growing up aboard an old schooner on the Mississippi River. She learned the art of storytelling from fishermen, from the people living along riverbanks, and also from the river itself. Borges’ poems have appeared in numerous literary magazines. Her non-fiction articles have appeared in City View, Knox Voice, Eva, Pacific Yachting andRudder Magazine. Borges lives with Karma and Krishna, her two dogs, and a troublesome cat named Mr. Dunwoody.
Janelle Hamrick
Janelle graduated from the University of Tennessee with a bachelor’s degree in Communications. Her passion for writing and telling stories ignited when she was just nine years old and it’s been a lifelong love affair ever since. When she’s not freelance writing, she’s usually got her hands full of all things photography related.
Cindy Moffett
Cindy Robinson Moffett is an award-winning writer, editor, and former documentary writer/producer. She has covered subjects ranging from child beauty pageants to nuclear fusion. When she isn’t struggling to write fiction, you are likely to find her outdoors.
Jon Worley
Jon Worley is an East Tennessee native based out of Knoxville. Worley is the frontman for the Cornbred Blues Band (cornbred spelled like inbred). He is what people in the 1940s would refer to as “a character.”
Judy S. Blackstock
Judy S. Blackstock is a freelance writer and photographer who enjoys living close to the action in Knoxville. She is the former editor and publisher of Zoo Connections, an international networking publication for non-animal zoo departments, a freelance contributor to the Knoxville News-Sentinel, a contributor to A Knoxville Christmas (2008,2007), and writes articles for the North Carolina Zoo website. Interested in anything beyond humorless people and politics, she holds dear family (human and animal), friends, Kenya, and Sunset Beach, NC.
Stacey Diamond
Stacey Diamond has a degree in journalism from the University of Tennessee. Her work has been featured in several local publications and photography shows. She enjoys working at Preservation Pub and photographing the Downtown Knoxville scene.
